1. Naked Raygun were a post-punk band from Chicago, emerging somewhere in the early 80's and had more in common with Hüsker Du or Gang Of Four than with let's say The Ramones. I found about this band from the "File 03" EP by The Hope Conspiracy when they covered "Treason", and the Big Black fans out there, know that 2 of these guys also played in.

4. Naked Raygun Format: Vinyl. out of 5 stars 19 ratings. Naked Raygun were never quite hardcore and never quite post-punk, and though they dip into those territories from time to time, their sound is largely very well done trad punk played straight down the middle. This lp introduced me to Raygun when I was a freshman in high school /5(19).

8. In a word, the live material cuts to the heart of what plagues Understand?, a record that is dull, idle, and plain boring when measured against the albums that precede it. Missing from most tracks are the witty lyrics, guttural attack, and edgy melodies that make Naked Raygun's Throb Throb, All Rise, and Jettison must-have records.
